Lynn Laughland, Managing Director, HRM Homecare Services
Lynn Laughland is Managing Director of HRM Homecare Services Ltd and Health & Social Care Training Consortium Ltd. HRM Homecare Services provides contracted care services to seven local authorities and employs over 300 staff and is now one of the fastest growing and largest independent providers of Care at Home and Housing Support Services to Older People, Adults with Disabilities and Children and Families in Scotland.
With a strong and robust management team, it’s Lynn’s intention to ensure that the Scottish Care arena is dominated by home grown organisations like HRM Homecare. Lynn’s most recent venture includes Health & Social Care Training Consortium (HSC) which works alongside HRM Homecare to provide care training to support recruitment and training needs of HRM staff and other care providers. This provides a unique business model and advantage within the care and training sectors.
Health & Social Care Training Consortium is at the forefront of a developing health & social care skills agenda and has successfully secured Training for Work, Modern Apprenticeships and Skillseeker contracts across Scotland. It is whilst working in partnership with supported employment partnerships that HRM Homecare is able to offer employment opportunities across the communities in which it provides care services. Lynn has been responsible for the operational, financial and strategic development of HRM Homecare Services Ltd for 15 years.
